I’m Sheila Watko, a radio personality, on-camera host, producer, and researcher working in New York City. I can currently be heard on-air every weekend on New York’s New 102.7. I’m also a fill-in traffic reporter at Total Traffic & Weather Network, a member of the Late Night with Seth Meyers production team at NBCUniversal, a producer at Starstruck Media, and a contributing writer at TheaterPizzazz.

In my free time, I shoot interviews, travel videos, and a popular dance tutorial series for my YouTube Channel. Thanks to my Big Time Rush dance tutorials, I once was hired to choreograph the Big Time Rush: Dance Party video game for Wii. Thanks to my Newcastle travel video and a statement that I enjoy Pitcher & Piano (a delicious restaurant that happens to be a chain), I once was called “an annoying and shallow idiot” by a stranger. The Internet is an interesting place.

I’ve hosted segments for Channel One News, contributed to MTV’s Video Love, and been creative producer and a member of the morning show at 95.5 PLJ. I’ve worked at Saturday Night Live, The Meredith Vieira Show, Late Show with David Letterman, and the New York Television Festival. I graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a degree in Communications and a specialization in Digital Media. I completed the Disney College Program in Walt Disney World, where I worked on my dream ride: the world famous Jungle Cruise! I told terrible jokes and wore high-waisted khaki pants in the sweltering Orlando heat and it was honestly fantastic. While in college, I interned at Baltimore’s Mix 106.5, Philadelphia’s 92.5 XTU, and The Hamels Foundation. I produced and hosted numerous programs at Greycomm Studios, Loyola’s television station, and hosted a radio show at WLOY Radio Radio.

When I’m not working, I can usually be found singing subpar karaoke, taking line-dance lessons, or hunting for the best nachos and margs in NYC. I love bulldogs, hanging out with my sisters, the UK, Christmas music, The Hangover trilogy, boy bands, and wishing it was Shark Week.
